We'll be working on both wet and dry paper, combining these techniques to get the best results.
I'll share with you my approach to creating watercolors, from the initial idea to the final touches. You'll learn how to properly prepare the paper for work and also find out how to dry it after finishing the process.

1. Watercolor paints "White Nights";
2. Brushes: synthetic or a mix of synthetic with squirrel (feel free to use whatever's comfortable for you);
3. Watercolor paper (cotton or a cotton and cellulose mix 50%);
4. Plastic painting board;
5. Masking tape;
6. Paper towel;
7. White gouache;
8. Pencil 2B;
9. Two containers with water;
10. Masking fluid.
Of course, you should! The course is specially designed to start with simple paintings and then proceed to more complex ones, so you will have time to get into the process and achieve great results!
For experienced artists, the course will also be beneficial. You will have the opportunity to refine your technique and enhance your visual experience.
At the end of the lesson, you will upload a photo of your work. The instructor will have the opportunity to leave textual feedback, graphic comments (annotations on the drawing), as well as audio comments.
At the bottom of each lesson, there will be a comments section where you can ask any questions about the training.
If you have a plan without feedback, it will all depend on your personal pace in completing the lessons.
With feedback plans, we actively progress through the lessons over two months from the moment you «unfreeze» the course.
In general, I recommend taking the course at a relaxed pace. Enjoy the process more.
It is never too late to learn to draw. In our school, 30% of students are over 50 years old. They happily draw, develop their skills, creative thinking, and feel younger in spirit and mind!
