What the course is about
The main theme in my art is water. That means seas, rivers, and lakes.
his course is all about the beauty of Crimean nature, my homeland. So, we’ll be painting Crimea. It’s no secret that Crimea is beautiful and has all kinds of nature. It’s not just the sea—it’s also mountains and rivers. Our coastline is especially stunning. Sometimes it even reminds me of the landscapes in Italy or France. But at the same time, it’s got its own special charm and a unique mix of styles. I’d really love to make our Crimean theme more popular, because it definitely deserves the admiration and attention of artists and anyone who loves beautiful things.
Who is this course for:
This course is perfect for anyone who loves painting water and seascapes, wants to learn how to compose and design a landscape, highlight the main thing in their work, and actually show it on paper. We’ll dive into composition, atmospheric perspective, and spend some time on foregrounds, backgrounds, objects, and details. You’ll also learn how to finish your painting so it really looks like a complete piece.

Frequently Asked Questions
- «I don't know how to draw at all. I always thought I couldn't do it. No talent. Should I take the course?»
-
Even if you believe you have no talent and have never drawn before, the course will be useful for you. It’s important to remember that talent is not something people are born with. Drawing is a skill that can be developed and improved through practice and learning.
The course is designed considering different levels of preparation, including beginners.
- «How much time will it take to learn to draw beautiful watercolor illustrations?»
-
If you choose a plan without feedback, everything will depend on your personal pace as you go through the lessons.
With feedback plans, we actively go through lessons within two months from the moment you «unfreeze» the course.
Overall, I recommend taking the course at a relaxed pace. Enjoy the process more.
- «I am 67 years old, will I be able to learn to draw such illustrations in the course?»
-
It’s never too late to learn to draw. In our school, 30% of students are over 50 years old. And they happily draw, develop their skills, enhance their creative thinking, and feel young in soul and mind!
- «How is the feedback on my drawing organized?»
-
At the end of each lesson, you will upload a photo of your work. The instructor will have the opportunity to leave a text, graphic (notes on the drawing), or audio comment on your work.
There will be a comment block at the bottom of each lesson where you can ask any questions about the training.
