Lesson 2

First work. Flying butterflies

In this lesson, you will learn the basics of composition using simple sketches. We will reinforce the theory and depict flying butterflies on the first T-shirt.

Lesson 3

Watercolor kitty

20 minutes

Look at this adorable kitty peeking out and showing us its ears and face! Let's draw it quickly!

In this lesson, you will start working with watercolor and be able to create a more complex drawing on a T-shirt.

Lesson 4

«Splashes» Technique

6 minutes

Let's start experimenting!

This lesson will be creative.

There is no right or wrong drawing! Using the «Splashes» technique, you will create your own unique clothing item.

«Fashion Illustration»

In this lesson, we explore a highly demanded area among clients who order clothing painting — «fashion illustration».

We draw inspiration from this direction and continue mastering acrylic work!

Course materials:

  • Acrylic fabric paint by Decola (colors black and white are a must + 3 colors of your choice: pink, light purple, blue)
  • Brushes: not too wide paintbrush, flat synthetic numbers: 16, 23, 35, round synthetic: number 1 or 4
  • Black carbon paper
  • Canvas on cardboard. Buy it once, and it'll last you a really long time. The most convenient canvas size is 40 x 70 cm (apx.16” x 28”).
  • Carbon paper is black, NOT blue.
  • Belizna Chistin or any other
  • Large syringe without needle
  • Rubber gloves
  • 6 cotton T-shirts
