Lesson 3

«Spring in the Urban Landscape»

Duration - 1 hour 10 minutes

The bright sun breaks through the clouds, illuminating the streets and houses with warm light. The air is filled with freshness and the aromas of awakening nature. In this lesson, we will create a panoramic landscape that conveys the atmosphere of a spring morning.

In this lesson, we will learn:

  • to convey the feeling of a spring morning in a panoramic landscape;
  • the laws of aerial perspective;
  • to depict tonal and color plans in our painting (distant, middle, and foreground).

Lesson 4

«Spring in the Landscape»

Duration - 50 minutes

Nature awakens after the winter sleep, and each day is filled with life and light. The sun breaks through the clouds, illuminating everything around with warm rays. The air becomes fresh and filled with the aromas of the first flowers and young grass. It seems that nature itself rejoices at the arrival of spring. In this lesson, we will convey the state of spring thaw with patches of snow, small puddles in the ruts of a country road, and remaining snow that has not yet melted.

In this lesson, we will learn:

  • to paint wide and freely the large scale of the sky with clouds on wet and dry surfaces;
  • to paint the ruts of a country road, applying strokes, washes, and scratching with pigment splashes to convey texture;
  • to depict sun rays slightly breaking through dense clouds.

Lesson 5

«Summer in the Urban Landscape»

Duration - 2 hours

A summer day in the city, where life is bustling and moving forward. Everything reminds us that summer is a time of joy, relaxation, and new impressions. In this lesson, we will paint a dynamic urban landscape with iconic architecture.

Lesson 6

«Summer in the Landscape»

High in the sky, lush rain clouds drift slowly, breaking through them are sun rays that flood everything around with their warm light. It seems possible to feel the warmth of the sun's rays and the freshness of the summer breeze. Let's create a scene with a rich summer landscape.

In this lesson, we will learn:

Lesson 9

«Autumn in the Cityscape»

Duration - 1 hour 20 minutes

Autumn, a peaceful city immersed in its reflections. The sky is covered with gray clouds that do not hide the breaking rays of the sun. They illuminate the wet streets, creating a play of light and shadow. In this lesson, we will paint a dynamic autumn cityscape.

Lesson 10

«Autumn in the Landscape»

Snow, like a heavy blanket, covers the rooftops. The air is filled with freshness and purity. The winter landscape features a special tonality and contrast.
