- you’ll get to try out how you can use super watery and transparent paint when working on your first wash
- paint with a medium amount of water when painting shadows and trees
- really dry paint for details and highlights

In the Lanes of Taganka
We’ll learn how to:
- try working this way, splitting your painting into three main layers
- In the first wash, we lay down the color for all the lit-up parts of the landscape
- In the second layer, we paint all the shadows, and in the third layer, we add details and highlights.
- you’ll see how pre-wetting the shadow area with water lets you paint smooth color transitions and reflections

Andreyevskaya Embankment. Winter. Evening
We’ll learn how to:
- you’ll find out how to create a nighttime lighting effect
- learn how to blend one color into another
- you’ll find out how to leave parts of the paper white without using masking fluid

Courtyard on Pyatnitskaya
We’ll learn how to:
- learn how to break your process into painting light and painting shadow
- learn how to make a big overall wash for the shadow
- you’ll try using a dry brush and the texture of the paper to add some accents

Andreyevskaya Embankment. Summer. Day
We’ll learn how to:
- you’ll paint the sunny light of a summer day
- try out this way of painting, where the colors are a bit thicker
- they’re added to the first, more watery wash, but they don’t spread out completely
Join all five broadcasts to unlock an extra bonus lesson: «Autumn Night in Saint Petersburg»
We’ll learn how to:
- how to show a glow in the dark and how you can use the reserved white paper for that
- how water and Titanium White can move thicker paints around, and how you can use this effect
- how brushstrokes help you show movement
- how you can use the texture of your paper to paint trees with sunlight shining through
