What you will paint at the marathon
Day 1
Late Autumn
In the lesson, you will:
- paint the sky with cold autumn clouds and warm light;
- convey the depth of space by alternating warm and cool tones;
- detail the plans.
Day 2
Winter Evening
In the lesson, you will:
- work with the evasion technique when painting houses with snow on the roofs and stripes of the forest;
- paint snow in the foreground and background;
- detail the foreground.
Day 3
Spring in the Forest
In the lesson, you will:
- understand which details to focus on when painting pines;
- depict light from the painting;
- paint the reflection of light in the water.
Day 4
Summer Forest by the Water
In the lesson, you will:
- paint a forest illuminated by the sun;
- work on one of the techniques for depicting the water surface.
Day 5
Last Snow
In the lesson, you will:
- paint the evening sky and its reflection in the water;
- work on depicting the spots of spring, melting snow.

2. Brushes – synthetic or a mix of synthetic and squirrel (you can use any comfortable for you);
3. Watercolor paper (cotton or a 50% mix of cotton and cellulose);
4. Plastic board;
5. Paper tape;
6. Paper towel;
7. White gouache;
8. Pencil 2B;
9. Two containers with water;
10. Masking fluid.
