Bright Lily
In the lesson, we are going to:
- learn the basics of constructing a lily shape;
- hone the smoothness and elegance of the lines so that the petals looked natural, light and alive;
- learn how to apply the masking fluid to draw the stamens;
- convey the uneven color of the petals.



Ripe physalis
In the lesson, we are going to:
- study the shape of the physalis, find advantageous angles and make a composition on the sheet;
- learn how to transfer the volume of fruits using chiaroscuro;
- try to depict beautiful watercolor gradients from light to dark, from one color to another
- learn how to transfer the texture of physalis leaves.


Spectacular Tulip
In the lesson, we are going to:
- learn the basics of drawing the shape of an open tulip
- hone the smoothness and elegance of lines when drawing in pencil
- learn how to convey the depth of the flower and make soft folds on the tulip petals.



Red Poppies
In the lesson, we are going to:
- learn how to construct a composition of flowers
- study the shape of the poppy, find advantageous angles
- learn to convey the volume of a flower with the help of chiaroscuro
- learn how to make bright washes in watercolor techniques
- learn how to make a light blurred background


White Poppy
In the lesson, we are going to:
- learn the basics of building the shape of the poppy, analyze the angle of this flower that we have chosen
- learn how to paint white color using three paints to make it three-dimensional, delicate and realistic.
- create depth by drawing the flower pith and small stamens.

Which materials we will use in the marathon

- Paper — 300 g cotton (if not available, cellulose will also work). Size — about A4.
- Watercolor paints (I used “Nevskaya Palitra” 24–36 colors, but other brands will do. “Sonnet”, “Ladoga” are also fine).
- Round synthetic brush with a pointed tip, medium size (kolinsky or squirrel also suitable).
- Thin synthetic brush with a pointed tip (for detailing).
- Flat wide brush (wash brush) for wetting the paper.
- Paper towel or cloth.
- Water container.
- Pencil, eraser.
