Program of the marathon

Day 1

Painting the «The Sound of the Forest»

We will learn how to:

  • create textures;
  • create gradations inside a living color stain;
  • depict stones;
  • depict moving water.
Day 2

Painting the «Frosty Morning»

We will learn how to:

  • create complex pours and gradations;
  • search for a balance of warm and cold;
  • create the texture of thin living twigs without a preliminary drawing.
Day 3

Painting the «Blooming Mood»

We will learn how to:

  • paint the water;
  • paint reflections on the water;
  • create floral textures on different planes.
Day 4

Painting the «Tulips»

We will learn how to:

  • create flowers with a minimum of means, while maintaining freshness;
  • paint the glass;
  • create a complex background to convey the unity and depth.
Day 5

Painting the «Mountain Air»

We will learn how to:

  • create whole washes;
  • create complex textures with the help of special brushes;
  • combine complex and soft gradients.

Elena Vlasova
  • Professional watercolor artist.
  • Graduated from the Moscow State Pedagogical University named after Lenin and Academy of Watercolor and Fine Arts of Sergey Andriaka.
  • I have been teaching watercolor painting since 2013.
  • Participant and prize-winner of many Russian and international exhibitions.
  • In 2023, together with the publishing house MIF, I published a series of books on different seasons of the year.
