Drawing Fresh Loaves
In the lesson, you will:
- learn to work with composition and dynamics on the page;
- find out how to convey the texture and color of bread;
- practice working with closed washes and wet-on-wet techniques.



Drawing Water Lilies in a Jar
In the lesson, you will:
- learn how to sketch a simple object and draw flowers;
- get the hang of working step-by-step so you don't get lost and can achieve a great result;
- find out how to paint glass and what's inside the jar;
- practice painting the background neatly.



Drawing a Cup with Cherries
In the lesson, you will:
- create a composition with a pencil;
- learn to paint berries using glazing techniques;
- improve your wet-on-wet painting skills.



Drawing eggs in a basket
In the lesson, you will:
- learn how to paint the volume of an egg using smooth washes;
- find out how to create the texture of dry grass;
- discover why salt is used in watercolor;
- practice creating the silhouette and texture of a feather.

Which materials we will use during the marathon
- Watercolor paper, 100% cotton, medium grain
- Professional watercolor paints, 36 colors

Additional colors:
- Payne’s Grey;
- Opera or Neon Pink;
- Cerulean.

Professional brushes:
- Round (squirrel, squirrel imitation, kolinsky, or preferred) sizes 3–4, 4–5, 6–7;
- Flat firm nylon brush, approx. 1 cm wide;
- Flat wash brush for wetting paper, approx. 5–6 cm wide;
- Soft goat-hair wash brush for large washes, approx. 3 cm wide (optional).
- Plastic drawing board to fit paper size;
- Masking fluid for watercolor (the course author uses SENNELIER);
- Palette;
- Water containers;
- Tape;
- Paper towels;
- Pencil HB;
- Soft eraser, kneaded eraser.
