What will you paint at the marathon


«Morning Mist»
We will learn:
- to work wet and dry
- to paint boldly, broadly, and emotionally, immersing ourselves in the natural state of morning mist
- to work delicately with graphics, applying different techniques, brushes, splatter salt and water droplets, scratching, etc.


«Sunny Day»
We will learn:
- to boldly, vividly, and technically paint clouds on a wet paper surface
- to paint in the Alla Prima technique the foreground and midground of fields and trees
- to apply pigment at full power while incorporating technical graphic techniques


«Light in the Tree Canopy»
We will learn:
- to correctly and harmoniously distribute the main masses of objects in the painting
- to use the principle of aerial perspective
- to technically implement light flow
- to work correctly with suggestiveness in graphics (trees, houses, etc.)


«Marine Cove»
We will learn:
- to technically and boldly convey the character of the sea surface, using large washes and considering the law of aerial perspective
- to paint reflections on the wet underlayer of the pigment
- to work with the mid and foreground, where the midground is more localized with minimal detail compared to the foreground
- to boldly and associatively compose


«After the Storm»
We will learn:
- to boldly and broadly paint the vast sky
- to paint in the «Alla Prima» technique - in one breath
- to solve the aerial perspective of the light distant plane of the grove, fields in relation to the dense, rich foreground
- to draw trees both on wet paper and dry, applying different techniques

In this lesson, you will learn:
- to combine linear and aerial perspectives
- to depict and technically illustrate light flow on buildings, trees, and asphalt
- to draw the character of cars, streetlights, cafés, illuminated tree canopies, etc.
- to boldly represent architectural buildings using large pigment washes, cohesive solutions for distant and midground, and sufficiently informative and detailed foregrounds
