On the course, you will find a lot of different subjects, such as: old pots, a rusty lantern, vintage plimsolls, juicy fruits and much more.
I will tell you what colors and mixtures you need to use to make your paintings look realistic and I will share my painting technique, which is distinguished by its smoothness and transparency, as well as smooth color gradients.
You will master various watercolor techniques, you will be able to confidently master the technique of watercolor washing and feel the tone. You will also learn the basics of drawing simple shapes and chiaroscuro. And finally, the course will help you see potential in nondescript things and convey it on paper.

Techniques and washes.
In this lesson, we'll do a few exercises, work with washes, and learn how to create interesting watercolor special effects with salt and alcohol.

Old Mug
Lesson duration: 35 minutes
Let's start with a simple one. Let's draw an old mug.
You will learn to:
- Convey volume in simple forms;
- Use a smooth wash and create an old metal effect on the mug.
Lesson 5
Forgotten Lantern
Lesson duration: 1 hour 36 minutes
In this lesson, we'll practice creating a rust texture using a vintage lantern as an example.
You will learn to:
- Use salt to create a rust texture.
- Create color mixtures that convey the color of rust.
- Glass representation techniques.
Lesson 6
Stewed Pears
Duration: 1 hour 27 minutes
Let's draw a homemade stewed pears in a jar and learn how to achieve the transparency effect.
You will learn to:
- paint in wet-on-wet technique;
- convey the contents of the jar in a wholesome, voluminous manner and taking into account transparency in the overall color scheme.

Garden Still Life

In this lesson, we will practice the garden composition - we will draw a lemon tree and a willow in a pot.
You will learn to:
- make an artistic selection and create a harmonious composition;
- convey the volume and texture of a tin ladle and a lemon tree using the technique of smooth wash.

Light from the Past

Let's practice our skills of conveying rust and depict an old lamp!

Little Garden

Look at the beautiful violets in pots we are going to draw today. Let's jump into the lesson and depict them!

- draw flowers and understand the peculiarities of the shape of the flower and leaves;
- fit objects into shapes and create space around objects.

Sea of Mugs

We continue the theme of mugs. We are going to draw the whole bunch of them.
You will learn to:
- create a composition and draw simple shapes;
- convey volumes with smooth washes.
- figure out the color scheme and choose the right shades.

Village Picnic
Duration: 2 hours
Outdoor lesson, what could be better? Today we will find ourselves on it and depict ripe apples and watermelon slices.
You will learn to:
- understand the principles of chiaroscuro;
- create volume with colored, smooth washes.
- depict complex color combinations on apples.

A Mystery Revealed
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Today we will master the conveyance of metal texture and paint a composition with an iron lock.
You will learn to:
- how to create the drawing of a lock.
- watercolor techniques to convey the texture of metal.

Autumn Harvest

We will depict a homemade composition of pots and pans. We will learn how to make our cookware enamel.

- create a composition of several objects based on a photo reference.
- combine the technique of smooth wash to create volume and texture of old pots and pans.
- create the texture of old enamel dishes.
Lesson 16
After a Walk
Duration: 2 hours
The final picture of our course will be vintage plimsolls!
You will learn to:
- create a watercolor drawing;
- use the out-of-focus effect to create space in the painting.
- work in smooth wash and wet-on-wet techniques.

Of course you should! The course is specially structured in such a way that simple pictures come first, and then come more complex ones, so you will have time to join the process and achieve high results!
The course will also be useful for experienced artists. You will be able to work out your technique even more, as well as increase your observation.
- How does the feedback work?

At the end of the lesson, you'll post a photo of your work. The teacher will have an opportunity to leave textual, graphic (notes on the drawing), as well as audio comments to your work.
At the bottom of each lesson, there will be a comment section, where you can ask any questions about learning.
